On Monday, March 19th, Grade 5 took a walking tour through Rome's Jewish Ghetto. It was an introduction to our new unit: Do the Right Thing!
The Jewish School in the Ghetto: 122 students from this school were exterminated
in Nazi Concentration Camps. The tall memorial recalls that a two year old boy was gunned down while leaving the synagogue in 1982.
