The first "optional" Saturday Field trip was on Saturday, September 24. As part of the Unit of Inquiry "Energy is Everywhere" Mr. Litman and Ms. Susan took some Grade 5 students and their families to visit Centrale Montemartini, a decommissioned electric power plant. It is now home to a collection of ancient Roman sculptures and mosaics as well as boilers, steam engines and diesel powered generators.
